Strategies to enhance the efficiency of youngsters in Industry

The contribution of youth in the growth of any industry is definitely inevitable. The potential, energy level of youngsters is a key factor in evaluating the performance meter of any organization.
Interaction with a lot of youngsters to get their opinion on their efficiency level in the organization produced quite dramatic results. Most of them have the opinion that they were not performing upto their 100%. So here are some potential solutions to improve their efficiency level based on the key factors that makes them dull in the industrial environment:-
  1. Time Management Training:- Most of the recently passed college graduate have problem in managing their time for their personal and professional life. The frustration level comes in picture when their personal and professional life gets mixed. So one of the potential solutions is to give them proper time management training.
  2. Industrial Simulation:- Most of the college graduate don’t get exposure to the stress level that they are going to face in their professional life. Free mindset of college graduate is not accustom to the industrial bound working environment. So another potential solution is to give them training on industrial work environment to develop their mindset in college life itself.
  3. On Board Transition Training:- The normal procedure of Graduate Trainees include the class room program training followed by department orientation training and at last the final placing. This transition from campus to corporate is not smooth. The proper simulation of exact work pressure must be part of on board training.
  4. Involvement of Senior Personnel:- One of the most critical factor is the relationship of juniors and seniors in the industry. HR personnel must take a call on this and give timely feedback to seniors about the psychological analysis of youngsters so that they can be source of motivation for youngsters rather than a roadblock in their development.
  5. Continuous Feedback Mechanism:- A proper feedback channel must be there to ensure the on time removal of roadblocks to develop the potential of the organization.
